The Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2019 is just around the corner and will take place on March 18th through the 22nd at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. GDC is the world’s largest professional game industry event with several education and networking opportunities for attendees.

Hi-Tech Chic has been off to a great start this year with events like CES 2017 in Las Vegas. I experienced more robots than I have ever seen, the drone rodeo in the desert and several different booths with virtual reality. Needless to say it was a blast!
GDC (Game Developers Conference) happened last week in San Francisco at the Moscone Convention Center from February 27th through March 3rd. I went this year to GDC and AMD was one of my favorite announcements plus they had a killer after party with Mix Master Mike. In a world of crowd funding sometimes the concept products aren’t that great or innovate. Since there are so many campaigns that are launched daily they all start to blur together.
I do however get excited when a cool product campaigns and SwapBots caught my attention. I was intrigued! The concept was first conceived over a pint of beer, 18 months later they designed and manufactured prototypes of the toys with a demo of the associated augmented reality video game.
