SXSW Gaming 2019 is going to be epic and one of the largest thus far. SXSW Gaming 2019 has previously announced their 2019 Featured Speakers and Sessions, they just recently announced the first batch of Tournaments. The SXSW Gaming Expo was from March 15th through the 17th at the Austin Convention Center. The SXSW Gaming Expo had hundreds of gaming exhibitors and this year they had over 46,000 attendees! It is clear SXSW attendees take gaming seriously. The SXSW Gaming Expo had an Esports Tournament Stage, Indie Corner, Tabletop Experience, PC Arena, Arcade Bunker, Discovery Stage and Pitch Competition. Though we wanted to highlight all the SXSW Gaming Expo exhibits we weren’t able to make it to every exhibit. We were able to make it to the The esports Tournament Stage and The Arcade Bunker which were both one of the busiest areas in the Austin Convention Center. The SXSW (South by Southwest) annual festival that has been here in my hometown of Austin, Texas for the past 24 years in coming up! For my 4th consecutive year as press I will be attending and covering all the SXSW festivals LIVE from March 10th to the 19th. This years SXSW Festivals include: Film, Music, Interactive, and Comedy events. SXSW will also have the newly expanded SXSW Gaming Expo and the new 3 day gaming pass which will include the SXSW Gaming Awards, Esports Tournament Stage, Indie Corner, Tabletop Experience, and Free Open Play Arena.
