Product Review: RHA True Connect Wireless In-Ear Headphones

Late last year, 2019 RHA launched their True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones for retail globally and we finally got a review unit to test out last month! The True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones offer superb call and streaming quality with ergonomic stem design, market-leading 25-hour battery life (5 + 20, built to RHA’s exacting standards with an IPX5 rating and three-year guarantee and Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility and 10 meter range. When we first received the True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones to review we quickly did an unboxing video so you all would know what you would get in the box.

Per our initial unboxing post about the RHA True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones hold 5 hours of charge; with another 20 hours in the metal-reinforced, flip charging case. From empty, the earphones can be charged to 50% in just 15 minutes. The signature stem design of RHA True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones and high-bitrate Bluetooth 5 streaming – maximizes signal strength between headphone and phone, delivering crystal clear calls and uninterrupted audio. Simple tap controls on the right and left earphones starts, stops and skips any audio playback, changes volume, controls calls and activates your digital assistant for advanced device and connected smart functions. Getting started with the True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones was simple after the unboxing. I immediately put both earbuds in the flip charging case and plugged the case in via the USB charging cable. One thing to note about this powerful charging case is that it’s light in weight and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.

After fully charged it was time to pick which Comply™ TrueGrip Plus and RHA TrueConnect tips work with my ear canels. Once that was figured out I turned them on, paired the earbuds to each other and paired it with my iPhone which immediately detected the earbuds once turned on. Similar to the small size of the case both tiny earbuds fit in the palm of your hand. (hand pic)

I decided to test out the True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones while working out and also leisurely walking in downtown, Austin, Texas.

Starting my work out with the True Connect True Wireless In-Ear headphones at the beginning was a good fit. Most people worry they will fall out while moving to which they did not for a good portion of my workout. After starting to run and sweat in the latter of my workout they did feel like they would slip out especially while sprinting.

They also would sometimes slip out when I was running in the rain however their waterproof feature worked perfectly as I never lost connection or audio. Given the Texas heat and the sweating factor they only fell out a couple times but enough for me to note in this review.

The sound quality was great, they were comfortable in ear and the tap controls on the side of the earbuds were easy to use.

Next I tested them while leisurely walking around downtown and did not have the same problem with them slipping out. They didn’t even look bad paired with my Swarovski earrings! Even though the color is matte black they were small enough to not look to bulky or unflattering.
