Apple’s Event Announcing the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Apple Watch Series 3, Apple 4k HDR TV and the iPhone X

Today Apple, unveiled their new fall products which included the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3 and the Apple 4K HDR TV. The event was held at the new Steve Jobs Theatre which is part of the new Apple Park.Before Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, started introducing all the new products he addressed the Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma disasters informing the crowd that you can donate on iTunes towards disaster relief.

After that he spoke about on the Steve Jobs Theatre and Apple Park, soon to be their new campus for employees in Silicon Valley. The idea behind Apple Park was that Steve Jobs wanted the whole campus to look less like an office park and more like a nature refuge. Knowing that Apple’s iPhone 8 was coming out in September, since that’s when most new iPhone’s are launched, I have been holding on to my old iPhone 6s. Imagine my excitement to find this article from the Verge about Apple’s iPhone 8 event on September 12th! Per Chaim Gartenberg from the Verge, Apple has sent out invites for its event on September 12th at the Apple campus in Cupertino, CA. Hurricane Harvey Resources, Disaster Relief and Donation Information

Texas has always been a huge melting pot of cultures. Sometimes we all don’t see eye to eye but when disaster strikes Texans come together to help their communities. Currently 50 counties in Texas have been affected by Harvey; I’m in one of them. The storm in Austin was so harsh it uprooted a huge Pecan tree in my neighborhood straight out of the ground, roots and all. Houston and the Gulf coast have it much worse than us that are inland in Texas. Unfortunately the rain will continue on regions already flooded and affected. Harvey could dump up to 15 inches of rain on western Louisiana and eastern Texas, including the Houston area. That said, Houston will provide more mega-shelters today. Continue Reading →
