NYFW Recap: The Vivienne Hu Spring/Summer 2020 Show

One of the must-see shows of New York Fashion Week was Vivienne Hu that took place at Spring Studios located in TriBeCa, New York. The much-anticipated show began to a live performance from top Chinese soprano, Chang Sisi and American recording artist Elle Varner performing a duet of “Only Wanna Give it to You” while models strutted down the runway in her phenomenal designs.

Needless to say for those who attended it was a top-notch performance from the start & blend of cutting edge yet elegant fashion throughout the show.

Thanks for the Vivienne Ho team I was able to get a front-row spot of this top-notch show to share with our readers.

Vivienne Ho is known for design concepts that cater to women who have a strong sense of independence and a desire for displaying their femininity and personality in a unique way.

During the show the she paired modern edgy details and metallics with nods to the 19th century; with ruffles and corset details. Complete with shoes designed by Vivenne Hu the models were styled in the one of the most inventive metal fringe detail cascading the back of the heelstems.

A current high fashion look, especially for those who have short hair like mine, were stylized bobby pins, which were worn during the show. The runway models featured stylized bobby pins on slicked back hair with voluminous curls.

The models also graced the runway with products from the designer’s new makeup line expected to launch on her website and in Macy’s in the fall. The line will feature four shades of lipstick, a variety of eyeshadows, and eyebrow pencils. Models skin was prepped with Rice Force products. For guest that attended we all received samples of all products and the eyeshadow hues are just lovely.

Out of ten runway shows I attended during New York Fashion Week this one was one of the best if not the BEST. To shop or learn more about Vivienne Hu please visit: https://www.viviennehu.com.
