During New York Fashion Week, Christian Cowan, in partnership with Motorola and NYFW: The Shows presented his February 2021 Collection with the fashion film “A Fashion Thing.” Christian Cowan’s latest collection was created with the concept of transporting the audience to the early 00’s without digging out your low-rise jeans.
Drawing inspiration entirely from iconic fashion, pop culture, design and tech moments from the 90s and 00s, Cowan’s February 2021 film invites viewers into Cowan’s vivid imagination to give them what they’re currently craving: extravagance, glamour, irony, over-the-top fashion, and of course, a fan favorite flip phone.
Christian Cowan’s “A Fashion Thing” features his latest collection and Motorola’s the newly reinvented razr to bring the 2000s to 2021. The film kicks off with SNL’s Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang wanting to be in a “Fashion Thing” when in fact they are for Christian Cowan.
It continues with Paris Hilton calling them from a Motorola razr asking if they are the “models” and the story line plus showcase of the collection continues throughout the short film.
Also in the film, other stars like Justine Skye, Rachel Cargle, and more donned the pieces from Cowan’s new collection and the razr itself.
Beside’s Christian Cowan’s NYFW fashion film featuring the razr, he also has a glam collection of micro purses, inspired by the re-invented razr and its compact, sleek and simplistic design.
