Vuzix® Corporation, a leading supplier of Smart Glasses and Augmented Reality (AR) technology, has announced the availability of the Zoi Meet real-time transcription app on the Vuzix Blade AR Smart Glasses. Zoi Meet is an AI Meeting Platform that transcribes important conversations and turns meeting highlights into actionable items to increase follow-up activity and reduce the administrative workload. New users can now receive an instant translation of everything that is being said in one of the twelve languages offered.
Last May, Verizon did the first demonstration of Zoi Meet real time translation on the Vuzix Blade at the “Verizon Tech Day.” Now, Zoi Meet is available as an app on the Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses. The new app allows for hands free translation to automatically be transcribed into text and projected onto the display.
Also, the app on the Vuzix Blade connects to any Zoi Meet hosted meeting by entering the meeting PIN code in the app. Now, attendees will receive language translation during the meeting from any one of the twelve supported languages.

Also, the app can be used to host a meeting on the glasses. The app transcribes conversations by accessing the microphone on the Vuzix Blade. After, the app converts spoken language into text on the display of the Blade. Then, it transforms the Vuzix Blade into a live closed caption enabled device.
For example, customers using closed captions in the app will be able to set to any of the languages. Therefore, live English to English translation while using the Vuzix Blade will translate and display the language to text.
This will be the first collaboration on the market to support multilingual communication through AR smart glasses. As of today, Zoi Meet’s services are available to download on the Vuzix App Store.
