SXSW 2018 Weekly Update

As the New Year approaches SXSW continues to have new announcements every week to make SXSW 2018 the best year to date. Below are the latest updates for SXSW 2018.

SXSW 2018 newest Featured Speakers were recently announced and include: Giphy CEO Alex Chung; actor and musician Common; journalist and author Katie Couric, songwriter and musician Kim Deal; XPRIZE Foundation founder and Executive Chairman Peter Diamand is; Uber Chief Brand Officer Bozoma Saint John; the cast of NBC drama This Is Us; actress, producer and Emmy Award-winning writer Lena Waithe.

During their SXSW 2018 sessions join executive producer Common; creator, writer, and executive producer Lena Waithe; and actors Jacob Latimore and Jason Mitchell for a conversation about the upcoming drama, Showtime’s The Chi. The 2018 SXSW Film Festival lineup will be announced in January. Coming soon to SXSW 2018 attendees can browse through all confirmed programming for the SXSW 2018 Conference & Festivals on the online SXSW Schedule.  The Schedule Help page is a great tool for further information on logging in, filtering events, and adding events to your schedule.

The SXSW Guest Pass is a free credential that gets you into SXSW events including showcases, film screenings, exhibitions, and more throughout SXSW 2018. They aren’t available to reserve just yet so subscribe to their newsletter to keep up to date on SXSW 2018 guest pass.

Reminder to those attending to download the SXSW GO mobile app to sync your online schedule with your mobile device so your SXSW 2018 experience is well planned with no hiccups.
