Product Review: RHA Wireless Flight Adapter with Bluetooth 5

When using wireless Bluetooth headphones or earbuds there is always a connection issue when using in-flight entertainment or to connect with a device that only uses a 3.5mm jack. The RHA Wireless Flight Adapter is a Bluetooth adapter capable of turning any analogue signal from a 3.5mm device or double 3.5mm flight audio socket into high-fidelity Bluetooth signal compatible with any Bluetooth wireless headphones. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the modular 3.5mm connections retract into the durable adapter casing when not in use.

With 16 hours of playback, the adapter uses the aptX codec with compatible earphones or headphones, enabling Bluetooth streaming with CD-quality audio. aptX Low Latency compatibility also optimises audio sync, ideal for watching video or playing games. A quick tap of the Wireless Adapter’s button allows another headphone to be paired; enabling simultaneous audio playback.

RHA Wireless Flight Adapter Product Review:

RHA sent us their Wireless Flight Adapter to review and though the nation is on lock down and not flying much this adapter can be used for much more than just an in-flight adapter. When I unboxed the Wireless Flight Adapter, I noticed the different ways you can retract the double 3.5mm audio jacks to fit whatever device your connecting to.

Next, I charged it via the USB cord provided in the box till the red LED light on the Wireless Flight Adapter turned white for a full charge. After fully charged it was time to pair the adapter with my RHA wireless Bluetooth headphones. Please note to pair you must first put your wireless Bluetooth headphones in “pairing mode” and the adapter must be OFF.

Once my headphones were paired, I then paired the adapter buy holding the side button for 3 seconds till the LED light started blinking. When pairing your headphones, you will hear a pairing tone and the LED light on the adapter is blue for 3 seconds.

Since I could not test out the adapter in-flight, I decided to test it on my PC without Bluetooth enabled. Immediately after I plugged adapter into my PC’s 3.55mm jack there was sound in my headphones, and in great audio quality I might add!
