Fender Launches Their New “Fender Next Program” Catering to Artist in the Music Industry Internationally

Fender has just launched their Fender Next program aimed at amplifying artists as they evolve throughout their musical careers. The first for Fender and the music instrument industry the program will showcase 50 new artists representing the new face of guitar worldwide. The Fender Next program was kicked off at South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival March 14th through the 15th with their “Fender Next House.”

The Fender Next House presented in partnership with Lucky Brand had interactive pop-up experience highlighting several Fender Next artists through a series of intimate daytime and evening performances, live broadcasts and thought-provoking conversations with creators.

While at the Fender Next House, SXSW attendees were able to pick up the latest Fender gear and try Fender Play at demo stations. With Fender Play customers can learn to play a riff in 7 minutes in just 3 short lessons; Guitar 101, Play Some Notes and Play A Riff. When visiting the Fender Next House I asked a Fender representative to explain the Fender Play demo stations and here is what she shared:

The Fender Next House had two walls with Fender guitars ready to play to make it a fully interactive experience using Fender guitars. I must admit it was a guitarist dream to see so many guitars just ready to play.

They also had guitar techs on site to assist with set ups for all artists in the Fender family. They also had a free guitar set-up on site at the
Fender Next House.

The Fender Next program is not limited to genre or regional focus with over 2,000 artists from over 60 countries that are expected this year to reach new audiences through showcases.

Per Fender, in addition to providing global performance opportunities and Fender product, Fender Next artists will be featured across Fender content from editorial to social media, telling their individual stories as they progress on their musical journey. More so, Fender plans to expand global reach even further in 2020, a new lineup of Fender Next artists will be chosen each year.

If you missed the launch of Fender Next at SXSW, Fender Next will also be at The Great Escape Festival in the UK for the second year this May, as well as other global music festivals in Japan and Australia through 2020.
