Classic Game Fest 2020 Event Update: CANCELLED

UPDATED: As of 9/1/2020 the Classic Game Fest is now CANCELLED till 2021 due to COVID-19!!

Classic Game Fest (CGF), one of the largest retro gaming event in Texas, recently postponed their annual event that usually happens in the month of July to October 10 & 11, 2020. Similar to years past, there will be over 150 vendors and 70,000 square feet of retro video games and fun at the Palmer Events Center. Though the pandemic is still on the rise here in Texas, the CGF staff has been working with the city of Austin and the Palmer Events Center staff to ensure the safety of attendees so as of now it is still a go!

And don’t forget, all Kids under 12 get in FREE when accompanied by a paid adult admission. Badges will be sold at the door, but there is not a guarantee of availability during the event as they may sell out! In order to ensure a badge will be available, please pre-order ahead of time.

Location and Parking

Overlooking Lady Bird Lake and the downtown Austin skyline, the Palmer Events Center is conveniently located only a short walk from many hotels, restaurants, bus stops, and bike rental stations. Limited street parking is available near the Palmer Events Center at no cost. Paid parking is available for $8 per day in the parking garage located next to the venue. Entrances can be found on Riverside Drive near South 1st Street and Barton Springs Road between Bouldin and Dawson Streets.
