In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for the third year, Blenders Eyewear has partnered with Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB) to advance KAB’s mission to empower young people around the world with breast health education and support. The sunglasses lifestyle brand is donating 100% of the proceeds from sales of its new limited-edition sunglasses to cancer research for October’s breast cancer awareness month.
KAB, a California-based nonprofit, is the leading youth-focused breast cancer awareness organization. Educating people about the risk of breast cancer is a cause that’s near and dear to the CEO and Founder of Blenders, Chase Fisher, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor.
“These limited-edition shades are crafted in tribute to the fighters among us—those rocking this disease right into remission, now and in the future,“ said Fisher. “We’re donating 100% of each purchase to raise awareness throughout our communities—because life’s about forward motion, especially after cancer,” Fisher explains.
The Blenders KAB limited edition pair of ‘Millenia X2’ is a unisex style with Superflash mirrored lens that pack polarized power, while the gloss crystal pink frame with navy temples is designed to be fresh and attention-grabbing. As a nod to the non-profit, Blenders included their heart-shaped logo on the interior temple tip. These sunnies cost $58 and come with limited edition stickers and cleaning cloth.
