The Annual ‘me Convention’ Returns to Frankfurt This Fall 2019

The annual me Convention, in collaboration between SXSW and Mercedes-Benz, returns to Frankfurt on September 11th through the 13th. The me Convention brings together thousands of curious minds who don’t just want to talk about the future – they want to help create it. For this year’s me Convention there will be an exploration the biggest issues and most promising ideas for society, business, science and our planet.

The compelling conference sessions are just one part of the thought-provoking, skill-building program at the me Convention. While attending the me Convention you’ll also get full access to workshops, masterclasses and mentor sessions, plus city hotspots, evening events, free concerts and loads of fun.

The first three science speakers just announced include: Samuel Sternberg, Aubrey de Grey and Gemma Milne. These experts (and many others) will take you deep into the latest developments coming out of science labs and reveal how they can contribute to better future, plus challenge us to think critically about the social and ethical side of new innovations.

The past speakers include Auma Obama (Director Sauti Kuu Foundation), Björn Ulvaeus (ABBA legend), Buzz Aldrin (Astronaut), Gelong Thubten (Buddhist monk), John Cohn (IBM fellow), Neil Harbisson (the world’s first official cyborg), Nadya Peek (MIT Bits and Atoms) and more!
