Today, Girlboss, a modern media company, and Brunette the Label, the Canadian clothing brand, have launched their first-ever limited-edition apparel collection! The collaboration is fitting for both brands as Girlboss’s goal is to provide women all over the world with the tools and mindset to succeed and Brunette the label aspires to inspire, strengthen, and elevate each other to be the best version of ourselves.
The collection features phrases, we all find a little too relatable on sweatsuit sets that will act as a new work-from-wherever uniform. This apparel launch comes on the heels of Girlboss’ latest season of their podcast, Girlboss Radio, with new host Avery Francis.
“For our first apparel launch, we chose a brand whose values aligned with our own,” says Lulu Liang, CEO of Girlboss, “Brunette the Label is female-led, collaborative, inclusive and unapologetic, but still playful. We saw plenty of natural synergies between the two of our companies.” As Jules Diva, Girlboss designer says, “We created a collection that offered a comfy work-from-home uniform to our communities that is still relevant and modern, with bold, culturally relevant statements that speak to both brands”
The Girlboss x Brunette the Label collaboration includes heavyweight French cotton terry sets and hats in a variety of colorways including cream, black, caramel, strawberry and violet. Each piece in the collection is branded with classic Girlboss slogans such as “Recovering People Pleaser” and “No Worries If Not!!!”.
“When I first learned about Girlboss, I was inspired by the movement,” says Miriam Alden, founder of Brunette the Label, “I was a new entrepreneur, and being known as a ‘girlboss’ was special to me at the time. That brings us to today, and this collaboration.”
