West Chelsea Contemporary to Unveil “From the Vault” Exhibit May 20th

West Sixth Street in Austin, Texas is known for its decadent dinners, eclectic boutiques, and boastful nightlife. Located on West Sixth is West Chelsea Contemporary, a trendy and contemporary art gallery that produces museum-worthy exhibitions regularly. On Saturday, May 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., West Chelsea Contemporary will be revealing its newest exhibition “From the Vault” to the public.

The “From the Vault” exhibit will feature a variety of artists including Robert Indiana, Malene Heerup, Melody Hesaraky, Sean Qualls, Robert Cottingham, Cleon Peterson, Richard Hambleton, RETNA, Yoshitomo Nara, Aboudia, Doze Green, Carole Feuerman, DabsMyla and Lady Pink. Additionally, the exhibit will include pieces that have long been held in private collections and offers the opportunity for art enthusiasts and collectors alike to explore the international landscape of contemporary art. 

The exhibition will be showcased within three categories – Art as Investment, Art from Private Collections, and Art for the Emerging Collector. “From the Vault” is free and open to the public and will be running through Sunday, June 11. This limited-time exhibition allows visitors to engage with a diverse collection of exclusive pieces and gain a deeper understanding of the contemporary art market.

ABOUT WEST CHELSEA CONTEMPORARY (WCC):
