The Races Will Go on for the ABB FIA Formula E Championship With a Six-Race Berlin Showdown in August

Formula E  has just announced that they are set to resume CLOSED-DOOR RACING in August at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin following approval of the FIA, with six races in nine days deciding who will win the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship. For those wondering how the races could go forward due to COVID-19, within Germany there are now more people who recover each day than there are people who become infected with the virus. In the announcement from Formula E, the Tempelhof Airport has been chosen to close out the current season, hosting three double-headers in quick succession on August 5/6, 8/9 and 12/13.

The new Formula E documentary titled ‘And We Go Green’ will take viewers behind the scenes of the electric street racing series and highlighting the purpose of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship as a proving ground for electric technologies in a bid to combat climate change and air pollution.
