The Creators of the Coronavirus App Launches Coronalytics

Three months ago, one of the very first coronavirus app was launched by two French and Korean ex-pats currently living in Taiwan. The coronavirus app, located here https://coronavirus.app/, is a searchable interactive app that shows real-time updates on the virus by pulling data from the WHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other resources. Hi-Tech Chic Launches COVID-19 Page

We wrote our first coronavirus article for Hi-Tech Chic after 2 French and Korean ex-pats based in Taiwan emailed us asking if we could review their new app (& the 1st on market), the “coronavirus app.” The 2 French and Korean Exp-pats created the app after being stuck in Taiwan as the pandemic grew. Since then we have received pitches 24/7 of coronavirus/ COVID-19 related apps, learning tools and consumer products. The City of Austin Announces Cancellation of SXSW 2020 March Events Due to the Coronavirus

Even though there were concerns and petitions to cancel the SXSW 2020 Conference and Festival due to the massive spread of the coronavirus as of this morning it was still on surprisingly! Announced today, March 6th and just one week before the infamous SXSW Conference and Festival, the City of Austin have canceled the March dates for SXSW and SXSW EDU. SXSW has stated today that they will faithfully follow the City’s directions.

The Coronavirus Tracking App

With the rate of those infected with the coronavirus rapidly growing the Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar announced on today that the coronavirus has been declared a public health emergency in the U.S. Per the announcement, starting February 2nd at 5 p.m., U.S. citizens returning from Hubei province will be subject to a 14-day quarantine. Also, other Americans who traveled elsewhere in China will be instructed to self-monitor for possible symptoms.
