The South By Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival, located in Austin, Texas runs from March 13^th through the 21^st, 2020. As part of the SXSW local community, we wanted to inform you all of the newest reminders and updates for the SXSW 2020 Film Festival. From August 5-23, join in SXSW PanelPicker® Community Voting to browse through next year’s sessions, discuss them with the community and cast your vote to help shape the 2020 Conference. Search through uploaded proposals related to music, marketing, film, episodic content, immersive arts, and more in a variety of session formats. Cast your vote now!
ICYMI: Registration and Housing are now open for the 2020 event! A Film Badge gets you primary access to all SXSW Film events including Film Keynotes and Featured Sessions, world premieres, round tables, parties, and more. Over the course of nine days, the SXSW Film Festival hosts over 450 screenings! Film registrants also have primary access to Convergence events, including the Comedy Festival and nine unique conference tracks, as well as secondary access to most Interactive and Music events. Buy your badges now before prices go up on September 27.
New for this year – feature films selected to participate in the SXSW Film program will be eligible for the Film Independent Spirit Awards, click here to view the complete rules.
