SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive Review

I constantly run out of storage on my iPhone due to industry events and product review photos or videos. I was excited to learn I was going to receive a SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive because I have maxed out my iPhone’s storage.

The SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive is a great storage device for iPhone or iPad users that need some extra storage or just a way to backup photos and videos without using the cloud. The drive has both a flexible Lightning connector that works with most cases and a USB 3.0 connector to plug into your Mac computer or PC. The iXpand Flash Drive also includes encryption software that lets you password-protect files, this is a huge plus especially with all the hacking.

The SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive comes in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB storage capacity options. I was lucky enough to get the 128GB SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive to test out. As soon as I unboxed the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive I plugged it directly into my iPhone and immediately received an alert that I needed to get the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive app. It also directed me to the Apple App store so I didn’t have to go searching for an app I had never seen before.

After I downloaded the app I got straight to business setting it up on my iPhone which was not difficult at all. My first line of business was to get all 770 photo’s off my phone and stored to the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive. Considering the large amount of video’s and photos I had stored they downloaded pretty quickly to the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive. When the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive was finished loading I simply unplugged it and then plugged it in my PC to get all 770 photo’s finally off my iPhone and on to my PC.

I can not tell you how relieved I am that the sent me the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive to review. This is now my new storage solution and maybe even my permanent solution since I have so much storage room! The SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive runs between $199.00 – $249.00 depending on storage size and below are the more detailed specs for the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive.
