PUBLIC BETA ANNOUNCEMENT: Logitech Capture Webcam Software

Today Logitech announced their newest webcam software, Logitech Capture, for their Logitech C920, C922 and BRIO 4K Pro Webcam. Logitech Capture has entered public beta for customers using the Logitech C920, Logitech C922 and BRIO 4K Pro Webcam.

The new software was created to simplify video production by incorporating professional controls in an easy-to-use app. It was designed to help content creators easily create polished content directly with their Logitech webcams. Serious gamers, however, should continue to use Logitech G HUB advanced gaming software to get the most of their webcams during gameplay.

The public beta allows customers to try out pre-release software and provide feedback. Similar to other public beta software that has not yet been commercially released, it may contain bugs and will likely not function as well as commercially released software.

With Logitech Capture, you’ll be able to customize videos and create great content all within the app. Logitech Capture is designed to offer:

  • The ability to record from multiple sources
  • The ability to create vertical video in 9:16 format
  • The ability to livestream to apps like YouTube using Capture as a virtual camera
  • The ability to add professional studio-style controls to your recording
  • The ability to customize your camera settings

Logitech Capture is supported by Windows 7, and a public beta is now available on Logitech.com through a free software download. When you download the software you will be asked if you would like to share your feedback and analytical data. Participants in the public beta are encouraged to submit feedback by using this Google form.

I just downloaded Logitech Capture this morning and will be testing it out to give you guys a review. For more information about Logitech Capture software please visit: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/capture.
