With the impact of Hurricane Dorian that has already beaten down the Bahamas for more than a day, it’s now inching towards to the US with it to hit the Florida coast late Tuesday evening and into Wednesday. MPOWERD and International Medical Corps have partnered to distribute Luci Lights to communities reeling from the crisis so that families have access to safe and clean energy. They are working with several disaster relief groups and organizations to bring Luci Lights to those affected by the hurricane.
The Give A Light to Hurricane Dorian Victims campaign will help to deliver as many lights as possible to those in the path of the storm. The campaign has already kicked off in preparation of the hurricane and they need more donations to help the bring Luci Lights to those communities effected by Dorian.
