Usually, there are particular areas around a home, such as a front door or garage, that need extra surveillance. With the H8 Pro 3K, people can pinpoint up to twelve viewing spots via the EZVIZ App. Even if the camera has changed its monitoring angle after auto-tracking an activity, users can simply tap on the pre-set dots to help it resume its place fast.
To provide that extra layer of protection, the camera also features an active defence function. Upon detection of intruders, the camera will set off a loud siren and flash two spotlights to deter even the most determined intruder. The H8 Pro 3K also makes sure than no one can easily sneak in under cover of darkness as it renders colour night vision up to 20 meters with the help of the built-in spotlights and ensures impressive black and white vision up to 30 meters when the lights are off.
What’s more, users can set the camera to the “smart night vision” mode so it can automatically switch from black-and-white to full color upon motion detection. Despite all the functionality, the H8 Pro 3K has a compact design measuring only 116 x 153.2 x 163.8mms, and is fully weatherproof to deliver long-standing performance, even in harsh weather conditions.
The camera features the advanced H.265 video compression technology, achieving better video quality with only half the bandwidth and half the storage space of the previous H.264 video compression standard. Homeowners have the option to secure any recorded videos on a local microSD card of up to 512GB, or, if preferred, can subscribe to EZVIZ CloudPlay for fully encrypted cloud storage and extra peace of mind.
