Typically, New York Fashion Week (NYFW) doesn’t acknowledge Valentine’s Day even though the biggest fashion week takes place during the day of love. This year at NYFW Adore Me, the direct-to-consumer women’s intimate apparel brand, rewriting the rules and celebrating the season of love.
Adore Me was driven by trends like #BookTok and steamy hit series like Bridgerton, we decided to bring a romance novella of our own to life on the runway last week.Their fashion show unfolded like the pages of a captivating novel, divided into three chapters, each reflecting a different stage in a classic love story, showcased through our collections.
The brand’s Chief Design Officer, Helen, channeled her inner Lady Whistledown as she narrated each chapter, guiding the audience through the twists and turns of the modern love story with laughter and joy.
With inclusivity on all fronts, Adore Me’s runway was a true reflection of what the brands stands for. Looks from the runway included the Beau Unlined Corset crafted from satin and chiffon, it features off-the-shoulder ruffle straps, a delicate lace-up back, and a convenient side zipper for easy wear.
Another look included the Bettie Contour Balconette Bra featuring charming scalloped-edge daisy embroidery, mesh wings, and contrast-colored embroidery details. One of the new featured looks was the Laurin corset, as worn by Iskra Lawrence, is a stunning preview of our upcoming bridal collection. Adorned with a delicate chiffon fabric flower, it features underwired cups, a paneled body with a functional lace-up back, and a convenient zipper for easy wear
The runway included a diverse lineup of models, including body positivity icon Iskra Lawrence, reality TV star Susan Noles, up-and-coming singer Elle Baez, and many more. The romantically epic runway show was closed with a special performance by R’n’b princess Ashanti.
