Just in time for the holiday season, the Tote Project, the fair trade lifestyle brand dedicated to ending human trafficking, has launched The Origins Collection—a reimagining of their beloved totes and pouches. While charting a path forward with an even greater focus on trafficking prevention, this milestone collection reflects on the company’s roots.

The Origins Collection features:

- Totes – Made in India with Fairtrade certified organic cotton, printed to order in the U.S. using eco-friendly inks. Each tote contains an interior water bottle pocket and cell phone pocket. Each retails for $45 at TheToteProject.com.
- Pouches – Lining and tassels made from upcycled sari materials, each pouch is ethically sewn by survivors of exploitation and women at-risk of trafficking, offering artisans fair wages, education, healthcare, and vital support services. Each pouch retails for $28 at TheToteProject.com.

In 2025, The Tote Project is pledging 10% of its net profits to Impactful Missions, an organization working through the Impact International Institute of Haiti. Amid ongoing instability and insecurity, children in Haiti face growing threats of exploitation and trafficking. Impactful Missions is responding with tangible support—offering vulnerable children in Fond Doux access to education, nourishing meals, and a safe refuge.
This collaboration underscores The Tote Project’s unwavering commitment to trafficking prevention—building on its legacy of survivor support, advocacy, and ethical production. To date, the brand has invested over $100,000 in fair trade partnerships, contributed more than $50,000 to nonprofits serving survivors, and earned Congressional recognition for its leadership in the fight against human trafficking
The Origins Collection is available now at www.TheToteProject.com.
