Juneteenth Music Festival: The World’s First Virtual Global Freedom Festival Kicks Off Tonight with DJ Jazzy Jeff

With the COVID-19 pandemic, Blacks Lives Matter movement and Juneteenth happening on June 19th people are searching for ways to celebrate the 155th anniversary safely. The 2020 Juneteenth Music Festival kicked off earlier today for online, for a positive, educational and entertaining day celebrating African American history and the mission to make Juneteenth a national holiday. Though the Livestream is in full swing NOW, International superstar DJ Jazzy Jeff will take over the Virtual Juneteenth stream playing a once in a lifetime set, tonight, Thursday, June 18. 9 pm est.

This year’s platform is a national stage for musicians, artists, and individuals of many genres and industries to celebrate the importance of art, storytelling, and inclusion.
