Donation Sites to Help Rebuild the Notre Dame Cathedral

Today we witnessed a what seemed to be loss of a historic cathedral in Paris that’s over 850 years old, Norte Dame throughout the day. As we watched the fire engulf the ceiling of the cathedral across the world there was an overwhelming since of confusion and sadness for the people of Paris. I know it left me feeling like what can I do to help them during this trying and devastating from across the world.

Thankfully the firefighters were able to save the main structure and the two towers though the ceiling was destroyed. With the fires starting to tame late into the day and announcement from President
Emmanuel Macron that it will be rebuilt many people wonder how they can donate towards the rebuild of Notre Dame. Below are the two donation sites dedicated to raising funds to rebuild Norte Dame Cathedral we have found thus far.

Fondation du Patrimoine

Today the Fondation du Patrimoine announced a call for donations to help rebuild “Our Lady of Paris”, Notre-Dame cathedral, after the brutal fire that has partly destroyed it. In an effort to meet multiple requests, the Heritage Foundation has decided to launch a national collection for the reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris. No management fees will be charged. 

Your donation is deductible:

• Personal income tax up to 66% of the donation amount and up to a limit of 20% of taxable income;
• Property tax on 75% of the donation amount up to a limit of € 50,000. This limit is reached when the donation is 66.666 €;
• 60% of the amount of the donation, up to a limit of 0.5% of turnover excluding tax.
