American Country singer and Texan native from Kerrville, Robert Earl Keen, has announced the Applause for the Cause one-night-only fundraising event in response to the tragic July 4th flooding in Kerr County. On August 28th at Whitewater Amphitheater outside of New Braunfels, Texas, Keen will hit the stage with special guest Tyler Childers.

Keen will be joined by a special trio set from Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, and Jack Ingram, plus Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rogers, Ryan Bingham, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and many, many more to raise money for the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. See the line-up below the post.

With 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, reserved seating tickets ($200) and general admission tickets ($99) will go on sale this Friday, July 18th, at noon Central. Additionally, at the time of purchase, attendees will be allowed to purchase a ticket for a local first responder to attend Applause for the Cause. Kicking off with Lloyd Maines and his Austin City Limits Band with special guest vocalists, doors for Applause for the Cause are scheduled to open at 3 pm. As the sun sets, expect full-band sets from music legends from Texas and beyond, including a very special closing set shared by Robert Earl Keen and Tyler Childers.
