The Seven Day Challenge Results Using the Asian Clay Dew Puff

Dew Puff sent me 3 facial sponges to test out and review. I decided to do a seven day challenge using the Asian Clay Dew Puff natural sponge since it helps stimulate skin cells white absorbing impurities below the pore level plus helps reduce aging.

What is a Dew Puff Konjac Sponge?

Per my previous post the Dew Puff face and body cleansing natural sponges are 100% plant-based cleansing products. Dew Puff has only one ingredient, konjac root, also known as elephant yam or kon-nyaku in Japanese. When hydrated, these natural sponges become exceptionally soft, yet gently exfoliating, while creating a perfect pH balance on the surface of the skin. Regular use brightens and evens your skin tone without irritation.

Following the instructions on the package I put the sponge under running water to get it hydrated and get it soft as it’s originally very hard when you take it out of the package. Below is the video demo showing you how easy it is to get the sponge ready for use.

After hydrating and ringing out the sponge I then began, per the instructions, going in a circle motion on my face with the sponge. You can also use a cleanser with the sponge however since I was doing the 7 day challenge I didn’t use any. Below is the demo of how to use the Asian Clay Dew Puff sponge on your face.

For the past seven days I have been using the Asian Clay Dew Sponge and below are pictures of my face during the seven days after using it. These were taken with no makeup (yikes) besides lip gloss to show my progression throughout the seven days. I took 3 different angles of my face on all 7 days and the bottom right picture of each collage is the end result (day 7).

In conclusion of the seven day challenge, I didn’t see much of a change in my face however I didn’t have any breakouts or skin irritation while using the Asian Clay Dew Puff. Looking back I think seven days is not enough time to see results and is that way with most facial products. I probably should have done a month challenge but in hindsight that would be way too long to test a facial product including taking daily pictures, that would be a bit much. I do like the Asian Clay Dew Puff because it’s easy to use, left my skin feeling clean and it lasts for 3 months before you need to purchase another one.

The Dew Puff sponges start at $8.00 and if you are interested in learning more about Dew Puff or want to purchase one click here.
