The Extreme Tech Challenge; Application Window Open till August 31st

ACTAI Global and Sir Richard Branson’s leading startup contest, Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC), the application window will be closing on August 31st, 2018. For those that don’t know the Extreme Tech Challenge brings together targeted resources and world-class advisors to help entrepreneurs that will give them guidance to execute you “big idea.” Their goal is to “lower the friction to your success” by providing exposure and capital to accelerate scaling of your product with free infrastructure and other startup boosters from world-class vendors.

Currently, XTC is the largest start-up contest in the world. In the past years, the contest has showcased some of the biggest names in the tech biz including Canva, Sphero, Doctor on Demand, Wanderu, and Bloomlife.

Just to give you all some back ground of XTC, annually this competition unfolds over 4 stages and catapults contestants to unprecedented levels of public attention while surrounding them with some of the most influential players in the tech industry. Throughout the XTC incubation process, contestants also get the opportunity to publicly pitch their ventures at CES, the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.

At the finally the top three contestants are then invited to Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island, where a judging panel of top tier entrepreneurs and tech pioneers will crown the winner. I’m not sure about you but I have heard of his island for so long I may enter the contest as well just to have the opportunity to go there!

The XTC 2019 will announce the “Top 25 Contestants” moving forth in the fifth annual contest on Necker Island during the XTC 2018 Finals, which are currently slated to take place on October 19th, 2018 during ACTAI Global’s Necker Island Week.
