The biggest retro gaming event of Texas, the Classic Game Fest returns to Austin, Texas. The 12th annual Classic Game Fest is on July 27-28, 2019 at the Palmer Events Center located at 900 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX 78704. Attendees get to experience 70,000 square feet of retro video games, tournaments, live entertainment and much more retro gaming fun in the heart of Austin!
THE CLASSIC GAME FEST WEEKEND CONSISTS OF:
- RETRO ARCADES: Play classic arcade machines and retro game consoles from the 80s and 90s for free.
- RETRO GAME TOURNAMENTS: Score Prizes, trophies, and bragging rights at tournaments that will put your skills to the test.
- RETRO GAME MUSEUM: See everything from the original Atari all the way up to Xbox! Presented by Game Over Videogames.
- LIVE GAME MUSIC: Multiple bands, back to back, playing video game music.
- CASH FOR GAMES STATION: Bring and sell your classic games, systems, and accessories for cash!
- RETRO GAME REPAIR: Get those old cartridge batteries replaced, new NES pin connectors, N64 analog sticks, and much more!
- ARTISTS AND DEALERS: Over 30 artists will be on hand to create and sell unique gamer-inspired arts and crafts.
- COSTUME CONTESTS: Costume contests for amateur, professional, and best group/mash-up!

- Weekend Pass: $25 in advance ($30 at the door)
- Saturday Only: $20 in advance ($25 at the door)
- Sunday Only: $10 in advance ($15 at the door)

Classic Game Fest will be open on Saturday from 10:00am – 7:00pm for all VIP and Saturday badge holders. (VIP passes get in early at 9am Saturday only!) It will open again from 10:00am – 5:00pm on Sunday for all Badge holders.
