Hue Go Review:

Getting started and using it is simple just press the button on the portable smart light to choose from seven different light effects: cool energizing daylight, warm relaxing light, and the five dynamic light effects. I definitely tried several different colors using my new Hue Go and it was quite fun!

You can also tap and hold the button to quickly cycle through colors with over 16 million color options. With the Hue Go can also use preset, colored light scenes.

Using the Philips Hue smart lighting system you can preset the smart lights to wake you up and help you sleep to mimic sunrise or use the warm white lights will help you relax.

When you sync your media to smart lights using the Hue Sync app, you can turn on your movie, music, or game to watch the Hue Go mirror the colors and rhythm.

The app is pretty simple to use and get started after downloading it. It also detects what other Philips Hue light systems connected to the Hue Bridge.

While connected to the Hue Bridge, you can pair your lights with Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and the Google Assistant and control your lights using just your voice. Simple voice commands let you turn your lights on and off, dim or brighten your lights, and set a light scene.

Note, the Hue Go requires a connection to the Hue Bridge to unlock the full smart control and features. Users can control their lights using the Philips Hue app, set timers, routines, add or remove lights and more.

The Hue Go is very portable, I tried it out in different rooms throughout my condo wirelessly, worked beautifully! If you’re needing wireless portable lighting especially if you already own a Hue Bridge or any of Philip’s Hue lighting systems the Hue Go is ideal.

The Hue Go is currently on sale till January 19th for $71.99 and can be purchased here: https://www2.meethue.com/en-us/p/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-go-portable-light/714606048. For more information on Philips lighting systems, please click here.
