Nooie Cam 360 Review:

When you unbox the Nooie 360 Camera you will find the Nooie Cam 360, power adaptor, wall mount and screws and the user manual.

To set up the Nooie Cam, you must scan the QR code located in the user manual to download the Nooie Cam App. After you download the app and create a new account, next you connect the power adaptor to camera then plug into a power outlet.

Once plugged in, wait 15 seconds for the red light to flash then open the app and click “Add Camera” on the front page. It will then give you a list of 4 different Nooie Cams to choose from. After clicking Nooie Cam 360 to pair make sure the camera is turned on and you are connected to WiFi. You may wait up to 15 seconds until the LED indictor light flashes red to show you have paired.

Next you will have a QR code pop-up on the app that you will need to display in front of the Nooie Cam 360 till the LED light turns from flashing red to a steady white. Following the pairing, the next screen will ask to name your camera and then ask to allow access to your microphone. Please note there was a recent firmware update and will need to follow the instructions within the app to continue.

When fully set up in the app, you are directed to your home screen with the LIVE camera feed and 4 options below; record, screenshot, speak and listen. At the upper right-hand corner you will find the settings tab where you can customize your Nooie Cam preferences like motion tracking, night vision, motion/ sound detection and more app settings.  The Nooie app sends alerts to your phone when movement has been detected in front of the camera.

Through the app, you can pan and tilt the Nooie camera easily around the room LIVE to monitor, take a picture or video. My first test was panning around the room with the Nooie Cam 360 within the app.

Next, I tested out it’s motion tracking, walking from my front door through my condo to see how quickly it keeps up via my iPhone so you could see the Nooie Cam in action.

I then tested the video recording option within the Nooie App doing the same path.

With the Nooie Cam App you can also link your Alexa to the Nooie 360 Cam. I have to be honest it’s a bit of a process. Through the Alexa App, you need to go to settings, search for “Nooie” and once located enable to use. From there you need to enter your Nooie sign in information, next “Authorize” and now you are successfully linked.

After linking you need to now find/ add the device, in the next screen choose camera as the device, choose the Nooie Brand in the following screen, and finally authorize. By connecting your able to ask Alexa to “Show Nooie Cam.”

I did not test mounting the Nooie Cam 360 but the kit seems fairly easy to use and install.

After testing the Nooie Cam 360, I found it to be a great addition to your smart home, especially if you have kids or pets. It can also pair with other Nooie products as well like the baby monitor or the outdoor security cam.
