Product Review: MOON UltraLight

In the age of selfies and now with shelter in place becoming the new norm taking pictures or videos of yourself or the partner you have quarantined with are more popular now than ever!  Moon UltraLight is a new, ultra-portable lighting accessory designed with intuitive touch controls that provide customizable brightness and color tone, making it the perfect accessory for selfies!

REVIEW:

We received the MOON UltraLight to review and test out while working from home! First, the packaging of this product is innovative, it’s rare I’m impressed with a products box alone. When unboxing the MOON UltraLight you will find the MOON UltraLight, Micro USB Cable, Carrying Case, and User Manual.

After unboxing I promptly charged the MOON UltraLight via my PC with the Micro USB Cable. On a full charge, the MOON UltraLight can last 2-3 full days depending on intermittent usage and 2-3 hours with continuous use.

After charging it was time to turn it on by pressing and holding both sides of the moon for simultaneously for 1.5 seconds. FYI to turn off the MOON you hold both sides for 3 seconds.

Next, I tried fitting it on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and also my HP laptop to see the versatility. The MOON is designed to fit without limitations and designed to fit multiple devices that include phones, laptops, tablets and more.

Whether your location is dark or dim, you can adjust the brightness level with precise accuracy from dull to bright by touch. MOON’s color temperature feature is easily adjustable from a daylight hue to a golden warm also by touch.

To adjust brightness on the MOON press right to brighten and left to dim. To switch modes press and hold both sides of the moon for 1 second. When switching to brightness mode both LEDs on the MOON will pulse twice simultaneously. While switching to color mode both LEDs will pulse twice alternatively.

After attaching it to my iPhone and turning on the MOON I took some selfies and also took some nature shots off my balcony while sheltering in place! Below is my selfie of before I attached the MOON and the second is with the MOON on the brightest mode.

Even though the MOON is designed more for selfies and close-ups, you can see the difference in brightness when I took the below picture off my balcony. The top picture is without the MOON UltraLight

All and all I think the MOON UltraLight is perfect for people that do selfies frequently and need the extra lighting to make it that perfect shot!
