P&G Ventures 2021 CES Innovation Challenge Finalist to be Unveiled January 13th

P&G Ventures, the early-stage startup studio within consumer products giant Procter & Gamble, announced the CES Innovation Challenge to be held on January 13th during CES 2021.  The CES Innovation Challenge consists of four finalists that are being recognized for developing cutting-edge technologies transforming everyday consumer experiences. The finalist includes Fluo Labs, Glimpse Diagnostics, SAVRPak and spotLESS Materials that are innovating in the sectors of home and health while keeping sustainability top of mind.

Fluo Labs, LLC

Over a billion people worldwide suffer from seasonal allergies and though this is a $16B industry, 60% of allergy sufferers aren’t satisfied with current solutions. Fluo Labs, LLC has created a handheld device that uses photobiomodulation, a form of light therapy that reduces inflammation, to provide chemical and drug free relief—all in just 12 seconds. Glimpse Diagnostics

Ear infections are the leading cause for children visits to the doctor, generating over 30 million visits annually. Dr. Courtney Hill is a pediatric ENT surgeon and founded Glimpse Diagnostics after experiencing first hand the complications of diagnosing and treating ear infections. Glimpse uses AI and telemedicine to offer at home ear infection diagnosis and care for children, even allowing parents to place an order for prescriptions all through the app. To learn more please visit: https://www.glimpsediagnostics.com/.

SAVRPak

Eighty billion pounds of food is wasted in the US annually, acting as the leading landfill contributor. Looking to find a solution that will keep our food in the fridge and out of the trash, rocket scientist Bill Birgen used his knowledge of thermodynamics to create SAVRPak. When the SAVRPak patch is placed inside of a food storage container, it removes moisture from the air and eliminates condensation, preserving the food’s crispness and quality and keeping our food fresher longer. spotLESS Materials

A clean bathroom means waste: wasted time, wasted water and wasted bottles of cleaning chemicals. Originally developed for the one billion people in the world who don’t have access to toilets and the four billion who don’t have access to clean sanitation, spotLESS Materials uses a patent-pending technology that repels liquid, bacteria, and sludge with minimal water usage. spotLESS is a non-stick coating that leaves a slippery barrier on surfaces, resulting in 99% less surface and 90% less water needed to clean these surfaces. As stated above on January the 13th at 12pm EST, The P&G Ventures Innovation Challenge four finalis will be pitching their products for a chance to win $10,000 and partner with P&G Ventures. This virtual event is free and open to the public. RSVP to receive a link to the event stream.
