PatBO Spring 2021 Collection at New York Fashion Week

This week during New York Fashion Week, PatBO, a Brazilian luxury brand, introduced their Spring 2021 Collection. Entitled “Acqua” the collection dives deep into the depths of the brand’s essence founded on intricate hand-embroidery and bold prints.

Throughout the collection you will see that it was inspired by the movement of water and features a retro seashell print hand-drawn in the brand’s Brazilian Atelier.

The color palette consists of pastel tones of pink and green alongside the brand’s signature bold prints.

Hand-embroidered fringe and netted details allude to the movement of water combined with delicate lace and silk fabrics that create an air of fluidity.

The best-selling beach dress (part swim-friendly lycra, part cotton mesh) returns this season with many fresh updates.

A mainstay of every PatBO collection is the prominence of beading and embroidery. Bonaldi, who founded a school in her hometown empowers local artisans with the skills to preserve this level of detailed craftsmanship.

The show-stopping beaded bralette featuring gold pearls and seashells that are individually hand-sewn in a process that takes 2 days to create just one piece.

“Retro reflections from sea to surface’ states Founder and Designer, Patricia Bonaldi about the collection.

About PatBO

PatBO is a Brazilian brand that captures the vibrant energy of South America through it’s artfully hand-embroidered collections.

Born and raised in Brazil, Founder & Creative Director Patricia Bonaldi began her career by opening a multi-brand store in her hometown of Uberlândia. Soon after, she began receiving requests to design her own collection, launching her eponymous label.

Today, the richly detailed embroidery and bold prints that are a hallmark of the label is a perfect example of the brand’s commitment to both technical expertise and boundless imagination. Rather than outsourcing this, Patricia Bonaldi established a school in her hometown for the express purpose of teaching local women this special craft. Today, more than 300 local men and women are empowered by the skills they have acquired.

PatBO is now sold in 15 different countries and available in more than 150 stores globally including Net-a-Porter, FWRD, Intermix, and Saks Fifth Avenue along with its website PatBO.com.
