Just recently launched, MOMMA is a sustainable swimwear brand that combines style and functionality for ALL swimsuit-wearing people. Korean American, female founder Jackie Robinson developed the idea for MOMMA after frequently spending time with women across the globe and realizing the dire need for swimwear that can function year-round.

After a 10+ year journey around the world, Robinson settled down in Seattle in March and used the world’s collective forced-quarantine to set her idea in motion. Her goal for the new brand, MOMMA was an inclusive, sustainable, and transitional swimwear line.

Robinson sought to celebrate all women by creating comfortable enough to sleep in, multi-functional enough to wear year-round, and confidence-inspiring swimwear for women of all sizes. With the planet in mind, every element of the Feminine Energy collection from the fabric and packaging to the donations made post-shipment was thoughtfully developed.

How MOMMA sustainable:

• The swimwear is made from their signature recycled nylon/spandex blend spun from regenerated eco-friendly recycled nylon, sourced from both pre-consumer industrial nylon waste, and post-consumer materials, such as discarded fishing nets.
• All dyes MOMMA uses are non-toxic and OEKO-TEX certified
• The swimsuits are wrapped in biodegradable plastic, our tissue and stickers are recyclable, and mailers can be recycled as you would grocery bags
• For every order placed, MOMMA will plant one tree in a US National Forest by partners at One Tree Planted and the United States Forest Service.
