Today, PatBO’s Founder and Creative Director, Patricia Bonaldi, announced her first-ever jewelry collection in collaboration with world-renown designer Ranjana Khan. The PatBO x Ranjana Khan Jewelry Limited Edition capsule was born out of designers Patricia Bonaldi and Ranjana Khan’s shared dedication to craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each style draws inspiration from Bonaldi’s original prints while unexpected and eclectic materials meet together to create unique designs.
All earrings are hand-embroidered featuring materials from around the world including Indonesia, Colombia, and Italy. Lava rock, silk petals, Swarovski crystals, and an emphasis on pearls can be found throughout the collection, all hand-sourced by Khan during her travels. The stand-out style, a headpiece featuring over a dozen ostrich feathers and Swarovski crystals that shimmer in the light.
This collaboration was a perfect pairing for both brands after designers met while vacationing in Careyes, Mexico a little over a year ago and immediately bonded over their shared appreciation for bold, statement pieces and the art of hand-embroidery. Today, both designers show their commitment to keeping this special craft alive by employing talented artisans in their home countries, Brazil and India.

Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Ranjana Khan started her career in fashion as an international supermodel. Immersed in a culture that embraced vibrant colors and unique textures, Khan developed an eye for bold statement jewelry. At 24 she moved to NYC and drew embellishment inspiration from Lanvin, Balenciaga, Gaultier, McQueen, Valentino, McCartney and Armani. Having been in the industry for over 30 years, in 2008 she launched her jewelry brand. Though she has specialized in earrings in the past, Ranjana’s craft extends to designing necklaces, bracelets, bags, scarves, and all things embroidery.
