Global Fashion Collective (GFC) presented by Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) has announced they will be taking part in New York Fashion Week (NYFW) on February 9th and 10th at Pier 59 Studios. GFC has established a global presence and will be presenting Canadian and International designers’ Fall / Winter 2020 collections in New York.
The hand-picked emerging talents will showcase their designs in three exclusive runway shows at New York Fashion Week; each designer will bring a different feel to the runway with their unique collections. Showtimes are at 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 and at 4:00 pm on Monday, February 10th, 2020.
At 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 9th 2020, GFC will present WooLeeX by designers Jerry Hsieh (men’s designer) and Cynthia Hsieh (women’s designer) from Taiwan, LAVEC, a men’s & women’s collection by Japanese designer Vesper, and WMTM by NiuNiu Chou, featuring a children’s collection this season.
At 4:00 pm on Monday, February 2020, the second presentation will include The Arlo Studio, a women’s collection by designers Charlotte Terry and Julianne Propsting from Sydney, Australia (preview shown above), Shun Oyama Tokyo, a women’s collection by designer Shun Oyama, Gigi Wang, showing women’s looks as well as children’s looks, and Alicia Perrillo, an emerging Chicago-based luxury label that specializes in custom gowns, bridal wear, and ready-to-wear fashion.
