Friday Fun News: Paper Fashion by PaperMade

During Fall Fashion Week this year PaperMade will release their seventh edition in the PaperMade series.  Courtesy of PaperMade you will be able to craft your own catwalk with top designers and style icons.

This seventh PaperMade book will include the below fashion icons and 15 more iconic fashion figures:

  • Tom Ford sporting an ever-perfect 5 o’clock shadow
  • Karl Lagerfeld with his superstar kitty Choupette
  • Alber Elbaz in all his cherubic splendor
  • Alexander McQueen bedecked in plaid
  • Anna Wintour defacto leader of the wolf pack

If you are a fashionista, style maven, trend-setter or just love fashion these 3D objects will help you get through the blues on not being at fashion week. It may not solve all your blues of not being at fashion week but quite possibly a nice distraction. Paper Fashion combines paper craft with advanced paper engineering therefore no glue, tape or tools are ever needed. Each icon is pre-cut, scored, and easy to punch out and fold up into a 3D object.

The instructions are simple:

  1. Punch out the pieces carefully
  2. Pre-fold all score lines
  3. Match all tabs to slots
  4. Assemble each part individually
  5. Then assemble your character to get it ready for the catwalk!

I use to play with Paper Dolls as a kid and the millennial generation definitely trumps that with these making them now 3D. I am hoping to receive a PaperMade book to test this out; no one is too old to play with paper dolls, 3D paper dolls or paper fashion!

Customer are currently able to pre-order the PaperMade book on Amazon for $14.95 by clicking here. Customers can also purchase the previous PaperMade books at Barnes and Nobles, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Marshalls and TJ Max.
