DJI Launches Limited Edition Mavic Pro Alpine White Combo: The Drone Wherever You Go

Today, DJI launched their limited edition Mavic Pro Alpine White drone that is available exclusively at Apple.com and Apple Stores. The Mavic Pro portable drone was DJI’s first consumer drone designed to be taken just about anywhere and now its design has become sleeker.

The remote controller and propellers come in the alpine white color and the drone is about the size of a water bottle. Its folding design makes the drone small enough to fit in your purse, fanny pack or luggage and quickly easy to launch. The Mavic Pro Alpine White drone is equipped with a stabilized camera system and unique onboard intelligent features. It has a 3-axis gimbal 4K camera, FlightAutonomy system for navigation and obstacle avoidance, and intelligent flight controls like ActiveTrack, TapFly, and Gesture Mode. Using DJI’s OcuSync video transmission system, the Mavic Pro Alpine White can support a range up to 4.3 miles (7 km) and is fully compatible with the DJI Goggles. Its ultra-light aerodynamic airframe and propulsion system gives the Mavic Pro Alpine White drone up to 27 minutes of flight time and can top speeds of up to 40 mph (64.8 kph) in Sport Mode. The Mavic Pro Alpine White drone is available starting November 16th as a “Holiday Combo” which includes a remote controller, two extra Intelligent Flight Batteries, two additional pairs of propellers and an aircraft sleeve. The limited edition Mavic Pro Alpine White will be the newest addition to the Mavic Pro family and retails for $1,049 US.

DJI Care Refresh is available for the US at $99 before the new Mavic Pro Alpine White drone is activated, or within the first 48 hours after activation. For more info or service availability in your country, please visit http://www.dji.com/service/djicare. DJI Care Refresh covers accidental damage to the aircraft, gimbal or camera during normal use for up to 12 months, and for an additional charge, the plan will offer up to two full replacements that are new or equivalent to new.

I learned about DJI’s drones at CES 2017 and at the 2017 Drone Rodeo which I will be attending in 2018. Their products design and inflight precision was impressive to see in person. If you live near one of DJI’s stores and interested in buying a drone I strongly suggest stopping by and getting a demo of the Mavic Pro Alpine White drone.
