CTA Announces CES 2021 Changes to an All-Digital Experience

For the past 7 years, I have covered CES, the annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association, in person but due to the pandemic CES® 2021 will now be an all-digital experience. Announced today, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® is reimagining how to connect exhibitors, customers, thought leaders, and media from around the world while prioritizing health and safety. Given the growing global health concerns about the spread of COVID-19, it simply would not be possible to safely host the event that brings tens of thousands of people to Las Vegas in early January.

Per their press release, CES 2021 will continue to be a platform to launch products, engage with global brands and define the future of the tech industry. An all-digital CES 2021 will allow the entire tech community to safely share ideas and introduce the products that will shape the future.

The good news if you are a media attendee, you’ll be able to participate in CES 2021 wherever you are the in world and they are designing a unique experience for the tech industry.

CES 2021 will offer the below-personalized experience for media:

  • Media events. Hear from the world’s leading brands at exclusive digital press events.
  • Product showcase. Explore products and services, based on your specific beat and interests, through dynamic product showcases and live demos.
  • Keynotes and conferences. Enjoy a front-row seat for groundbreaking announcements and insights from the world’s tech leaders.
  • Meetings and networking. Engage with the brands and thought leaders your audience cares about.

CES showcases companies including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more. It also includes a conference program where the world’s business leaders and pioneering thinkers address the industry’s most relevant issues.

The all-new CES is coming in January and dates have not been announced yet. Once we get more information about CES 2021 we will keep you all posted!
