Christina Yother Launches Spring/Summer 2021 Sustainable Collection on Kickstarter

Today, Atlanta-based sustainable designer Christina Yother launched her debut collection for Spring/Summer 2021 on Kickstarter. With shipping projected for March 2021, the collection is effortlessly elegant, incredibly comfortable, and full of fluidity. Committed to making pieces using sustainable materials and practices, the collection features six key styles all under $450 in sizes XS-3X/00-16.

Materials used for the collection include recycled Jersey, Cupro, which is biodegradable and made from plant-based materials, MicroModal, made from beech trees grown through sustainable forestry fibers made from recycled ocean plastics, Global Organic Textile Standard Approved dyes and more.

The six dresses include:

  • Vanessa Dress – $330
  • Melissa Dress – $319
  • Rachelle Dress – $428
  • Julia Top – $187
  • Tia Pants – $359
  • Jasmine Tunic – $439

Founder Christina Yother says, “These pieces are designed for everyday and everywhere. Wear them for a Zoom meeting from your couch where you want to look chic and be comfortable, slip them on after yoga, pair them with sandals or sneakers for amazing street style, or dress them up for a fresh and feminine look for any evening or event.”

“Repurposing with a Purpose” Christina also reduces waste by recycling excess fabric into one-of-a-kind accessories, including scarves for $45, face masks for $25 and more, and will be donating the proceeds to local Atlanta women’s shelters.

She’s currently taking preorders on her Kickstarter to avoid wasteful overproduction, which she also does by utilizing small batch production.
