During CES, Lenovo launched a number of new consumer innovations from Laptops to Displays to Smart home products. While at CES I had a chance to experience the Lenovo Ducati 5 limited-edition, ThinkPad X1 Fold, the Yoga™ 5G 2-in-1 convertible laptop, the Yoga Slim 7 laptop, ThinkReality VR/AR, and the LAVIE AIO.

Lenovo Ducati 5 Limited-Edition

This premium 14-inch Windows 10 laptop has a lot of get-up-and-go and up to 12 hours of battery lifewith Rapid Charge2 for speedy battery pit-stops. Under the hood users will discover fast responsiveness with up to 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 processors, Intel integrated graphics, and upward-facing speakers and Dolby Audio™ for clearer sound without distortion.

Impress your buddies when streaming races with lightning-fast WiFi 6 connectivity and the immersive clarity of the Lenovo Ducati 5’s 14-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with razor-thin bezels for wide-angled viewing and in-plane switching (IPS) up to 300 nits bright.

The cutting-edge USB-C port is capable of fast transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps.3 Get optional white backlit keyboard and even more winning features including an integrated fingerprint reader in the power button supported by Windows Hello for faster log in, HD webcam with an integrated privacy shutter, and supercharged memory (with 8 GB DDR4) and storage (1TB SSD PCIe). The new Lenovo Ducati 5 weighs just 3.48lbs (1.58kg) and 0.66 inches (16.9mm) thin.

World’s First Foldable PC, ThinkPad X1 Fold

ThinkPad X1 Fold is the first fully functional PC with a folding OLED display. Designed to offer unprecedented productivity, it will offer a ground-breaking new form factor that will reimagine mobile computing. As it morphs through multiple modes, from a small footprint device into a fully flat 13.3-inch display, X1 Fold will deliver laptop efficiency with smartphone portability. Built from a combination of lightweight alloys and carbon fiber and covered in a luxurious leather folio cover, the X1 Fold will offer the durability and reliability users expect from any ThinkPad.

Unfolded, the X1 Fold is ideal for touch heavy content consumption with 13.3-inches of OLED display real estate and weighing less than 2.2 pounds (1kg). In landscape mode with the integrated kickstand in the leather folio case, users can review and annotate the latest presentation or use the Bluetooth Mini Fold Keyboard. When folded closed, the keyboard is stored and wirelessly charged inside the system and secured with magnets. 

ThinkPad X1 Fold with Windows 10 is expected to be available mid-2020 with prices expected to start at $2499. The Windows 10X version is expected to be available at a later date. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 is Smarter Than Ever

The new premium Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 laptop Smarter embraces personalized choices with a variety of colors, textures, plus processor, graphics options available and available in either 14-inch or 15-inch. Both options have Windows 10 and the convenience of our exclusive Lenovo Q-Control Intelligent Cooling feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize battery life by an average of up to 20 percent.

Even more AI-enabled features are offered via Lenovo Smart Assist on the Yoga Slim 7, including a boost to attention-sensing functionality from Glance by Mirametrix®. LAVIE Home All-in-One

The LAVIE Home All-in-One is by NEC Personal Computers, Ltd. is a joint venture company of Lenovo and NEC Corporation. The LAVIE Home All-in-One has a 27-inch FHD display that’s designed by LG Display and speakers embedded in the display. It works with Intel’s Wake on Voice function, so you have flexibility with how to control the display. The LAVIE Home All-in-One runs on an Intel Core i7-10510U processor, making it the newly announced LAVIE device with the latest processor.

This AIO incorporates the Crystal Sound Display to make a sound you can literally feel, foregoing the traditional speaker box. Its Exciter and Piezo units vibrate the display to create sound—effectively using the 27″ screen as a speaker.
