Aimee Nielsen Spring/ Summer 2022 Collection at London Fashion Week

Designer, Aimee Nielsen, unveiled  ‘A Tempestade’ Spring/ Summer 2022 Collection at the Oxford Fashion Studios during London Fashion Week. Aimee’s new collection is inspired by the symbolic nature of the phases of a storm: the calmness before, the storm itself, and the destruction afterward. The collection also draws on inspiration from the 16th and 17th centuries.

The ‘A Tempestade’ collection incorporates menswear, womenswear, and gender-neutral pieces while utilizing techniques such as hand embroidery, draping, pleating, and tailoring.

The collection for men and women, drawing influence by storms of a personal nature and the symbolic nature of the phases of a storm, is coming soon. The designs will be available for celebrity styling through The Trendhaus based out of Los Angeles, California.

About Aimee Nielsen

Aimee obtained a Fashion Design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, New York.  With an eye for design, Aimee is also a motion graphics and product designer. She obtained a UI/UX  Product Design Certificate from the Pratt Institute out of Brooklyn, New York and a Motion Graphics Design Certificate also from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Aimee is additionally a licensed attorney in Florida and the District of Columbia.    

After releasing her first collection in 2018, The Deco Collection, she was selected to showcase her designs at two New York Fashion Week runway shows, that were recommended by the New York Times. She was also selected to showcase her designs for Raw Artists and FIT Runway 27.  

She has been featured as an up-and-coming designer and her designs were featured in Fashion Avenue News Magazine. Her designs have been featured in La Botanica Magazine Winter Issue N.6, Newsweek, Popsugar,  Zimbio and worn by celebrities. Additionally, her artwork has been displayed at prominent galleries such as the Museum at FIT in New York, New York.
