adidas Releases a New Line of the Originals Eyewear

Announced today, adidas, one of the largest sportswear manufacturers in the world, has released a new line of Originals Eyewear. Creating new and unique designs for each frame, the collection offers the values and philosophy of the marriage of sport and street culture. The new adidas Originals collection resurrects previous designs and cultures to push forward and inspire a connected, responsible, and sustainable future.

OR0038

The OR0038 brings a cat-eye perspective with injection-molded style conveying a contemporary and trendy look. The adidas Originals logo is lasered onto a raised aluminum plaque on the temples. Rubber profiles on the tips ensure all-day comfort with the added sports performance keeping these Originals in place (Sport Inspired). Retails for $100.

OR0056 

The OR0056 is the most sustainable style from this latest collection, made from a polyamide of 99.7% of recycled plastics. The temples are textured with what resembles to be the exterior of a basketball that’s created from an original mold. And adding to this frame’s sustainability, the new PC green lenses contain an average of 60% pre-consumer recycled materials. Retails for $90.

OR0059

The OR0059 brings the classic and trendy aviator style with an injection-molded frame. At the temples, a textured TREFOIL logo of adidas Originals is topped with a clear rubber over-injection to give a 3-D effect. Retails for $140.
