SXSW 2017 is fast approaching, in fact it was just announced that the SXSW Gaming Conference wristbands are now available to purchase. Back in the day when you would think about SXSW gaming wasn’t the first thing that comes to mind but times are changing! SXSW Gaming Conference will begin on Thursday, March 16 through Saturday, March 18 at the Austin Convention Center.
The SXSW Gaming.Conference & Festival is a combination of geek and gaming culture with Expos, Awards, and Programming. Not only is the Gaming Conference the fastest growing phenomenon at SXSW, this year they have expanded the Gaming Expo, Gaming Awards, and Gaming Program lineup.
SXSW Gaming also hosts an array of free play experiences for its attendees. From their PC Arena that hosts hundreds of PCs, laptops, and other gaming devices, to their Arcade Bunker.
When or if you get a SXSW Gaming Wristband, you’ll be granted complete access to each portion of the show as well as exclusive perks such as discounted hotel rooms, complimentary swag bags, and access to special events. SXSW Gaming Conference is open for attendance to all ages, with complimentary access given to all SXSW badgeholders. The SXSW Gaming wristband does not grant access to any SXSW Interactive, Film or Music events.
