Scollar Mini for Small Dogs and Cats

Scollar Mini is a smart cat and small dog collar built on an open hardware and software platform that includes GPS tracking with no monthly fees, a tappable display, up to 30-day battery life, On-collar magnetic portable charging, and expandable functionality.

The Scollar Mini also has add-on vibration module for perimeter barriers and training. The feature I like best of the Scollar Mini is the feeding, flea/tick, and medication reminders and logging. That function is perfect if your are like me and forget when you fed your pet. My dog would get double fed sometimes by accident so the Scollar would have been perfect for her. I also think the Scollar Mini is very useful if you have roomates and share pet duties.

What’s a smart collar without it’s own app? The Scollar Mini also has it’s own mobile App for iOS and Android that lets you add multiple pets, find your pet, set up feeding and medication reminders, and track your pet’s training progress.

Recently Scollar launched their Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $15,000. As of today and only 10 days into their Kickstarter campaign $29,129 has been pledged. Though they have hit their goal they still need more backing to launch the Scollar Mini. If you want to back the Scollar Mini Kickstarter campaign you have several options to choose from. You can either make a pledge without a reward or choose from their 15 different packages that start at $99 and goes up from there. To check out Scollar Mini‘s Kickstarter campaign or if you would like to back them click here.

I may get a sample to review once they are available so stay tuned and keep checking back for my product review of Scollar Mini.
